In this article I will talk about something fundamental in digital marketing, the FUNNEL.

Why is it essential? Because a good sales funnel will make you money.

And a bad funnel, or the absence of one, will stop you from making money.

Can you make money without a sales funnel?

Of course.

On the internet you can make money in many ways.

But it's something that always adds up, so if you don't have it, or you don't have it perfect, this article will help you.

What is a Funnel

A Funnel is basically a funnel.

Funnel sounds better, yes, but it's the same.

Imagine that the bottle in the photo is your customers, and not everyone who enters through the funnel becomes a customer.

At the start of your Funnel, you have what are known as Leads, or potential customers.

These are people who might be interested in your product, but are starting to get to know you.

In the end, a percentage of those potential customers end up becoming customers, and going through the entire funnel to pay you money for whatever you sell.

The phases of a funnel

A Funnel has 3 phases.

Or so it's often said, because there really are many types of funnels, and it's not set in stone that they have to have only 3 phases, and not 4 or 2.

But hey, let's go to the traditional, the 3 phases of a funnel.

These are:

Phase 1 of a funnel - TOFU

This first phase, TOFU (Top Of The Funnel) is the first step in your funnel

Phase 2 of a funnel - MOFU

The MOFU, the Middle of the funnel, is where the people who already know your product or service are, and who are considering buying from you, but are not sure.

You could also choose to buy from the competition, or not to buy.

We have gone from cold traffic, from people who don't know you and have just discovered you, to people who already know you, and who follow you and are interested in what you tell them.

Phase 3 of a funnel - BOFU

Finally, we have the BOFU, the Bottom of the funnel, the final part of the sales funnel.

Here, we reach those who become your customers, the ones who end up entering the bottle.

The goal of any Funnel is to transform cold traffic into customers.

Are they the same as a conversion funnel, a sales funnel, and a sales funnel?

Yes and No.

They are very similar things, which depending on where you look will tell you that they are the same thing or not.

In my opinion, they are more or less the same, and your goal should be to have 1 funnel to start with.

In the long run, if your company is doing well and you are expanding your team, departments, etc...

How to Create Sales Funnels

I'm going to tell you how to create a sales funnel step by step. A basic and simple one, which you can also do without problem.

Step #1 to create a Funnel. Create a Lead Magnet

The most common thing is to create a Lead Magnet, a magnet for leads or contacts.

This is usually the first part of a funnel.

We offered this course through WhatsApp, since we consider WhatsApp marketing to be an excellent tool.

Step #2 to create a Funnel. Drive traffic to your Lead Magnet

The second step is to drive traffic to your offer.

Without traffic, there are no customers.

This traffic will be cold traffic, usually from people who don't know you.

They'll enter through TOFU, the initial part of your sales funnel.

Here, you don't sell them anything, you give them your Lead Magnet.

To drive traffic, the best thing to start with is to do it with ads, whether on Facebook, Instagram or any other social network.

Step #3 to create a Funnel. Make your sales offer

Once traffic has consumed your Lead Magnet, it's time to make the offer.

Here, people will already know you, and they can decide if they are interested in what you offer or not.
