I'm sure you've heard a lot about email marketing by now.
Normal, it's something that has been in practice for years and years.
That's why, in this article, I'm NOT going to tell you what email marketing is and that kind of thing you can find everywhere.
I'll tell you something different, an email sales sequence that works.
I won't go into the technical part, which is quite simple and depends on your email marketing provider.
I won't go into the specific text either, since it depends on your niche.
What I will do is give you the strategy of your email marketing campaign, so that you can put it into practice in your specific case.
Let's get to the point.
But first, some things you'll need, because otherwise nothing makes sense.
2 Things You Need for Your Email Marketing Strategy to Sell
💥 The first, something to sell.
It sounds obvious, but it's important to stress it.
You should focus on selling just one thing.
Don't sell like crazy, at least in the same sales sequence.
Choose a product or service, and focus on selling it.
If you already have something, great.
Otherwise, don't worry, you're on time.
You can choose to create something, but you could also sell something as an affiliate, something that's not your own and for which you earn a commission.
💥 Attract trafficThe second thing you need is a traffic source.
And the thing is, no matter how cool your email sequence is, if people don't come in, nobody buys.
My advice, don't complicate yourself.Do 3 things:
- Create a landing page with Generator Landing, where you'll want people to sign up for your email list.
- Create an ad on Facebook, just like we showed you inside Generator Landing, and it carries traffic.
- It sells automatically.
The Strategy of an Email Sales Sequence
Now yes, now we can move on to the sequence.
I'll tell you how to do it, whatever you're going to sell.
💥 Step #1 - Create a Lead Magnet
A Lead Magnet is a gift, something you offer in exchange for the email.
I'm sure you've seen it a thousand times.
For example, an ebook, or a 3-lesson short course, or a challenge.
The Lead Magnet has 2 objectives:
- You give something away, and it's easier for someone to leave you their email.
- You give value, you make them know you and you generate authority.
💥 Step #2 - Start your sales sequence with an Offer
Make a limited-time offer.
For example, imagine that your Lead Magnet is a challenge to improve your finances in 5 days.
After those 5 days, your audience will have learned things, but they will have a lot more to learn.
You could offer your course in which you tell everything, at half price, for 5 days.
💥 Step #3 - Send sales emails for the duration of the offer
Now, take advantage of those 5-day offer to sell.
The fact is that to sell it is not enough to say it once and in a way.
Send different emails, attacking pain points, demonstrating benefits of entering your course, providing testimonies, generating authority and trust in your teaching abilities, etc.
💥 Step #4 - Evaluate, Measure and Pivota
It might work the first time, but it might not.
Now it's your turn to measure and change things.
Analyze the conversion of the created landing page, analyze the openings and clicks in the emails, etc.
Improve what's worse, and keep iterating.
With this simple but effective email sequence, you can manage to sell whatever you want by email.
